Solution Ibe

10/30/23 – 3/14/24

My name is Solution Ibe. I am an MIM student at Aschaffenburg University. I interned at Breathe Enterprises as a Digital Marketer, leveraging my skills in digital marketing (focused content writing and market research).

During my internship, a particularly memorable moment was writing a newsletter and auditing SMEs links shared on Slack.  The guidance and expertise from Professor Robert were invaluable. Revamping the AMAs Website provided me with a great sense of accomplishment.

For future interns, I would advise taking initiative and expressing your interests. Braathe offers a wealth of opportunities, and the more you explore, the more you’ll get out of the experience. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that allowed me to hone my Time management skills and gain valuable insights into Digital Marketing trends.

My name is Abdullahi Aden, and I am a first-generation college student. I am from Somalia and came here three years ago. I am studying Economics at The Ohio State University. One memorable moment I had during this internship was when I met somebody from Kenya who would speak the same local language as me. What a small world. I advise others to leave their comfort zone, talk to people, and make connections. You never know who is going to be helpful later in life. My favorite project was identifying the internship’s issues and recommending improvements.

HR/Marketing

My favourite project I worked on with others was the building of the new American Marketing Association website. This project required consistency, focus, discipline and hard work. It brought out a whole different side of me as I was given the privilege to lead the project, and also, for me to lead is something that rarely happens to me so I knew from the get go that I couldn’t take this project lightly. It was very fun working on this project and also very good that we could either meet the deadline or finish before it. We greatly leveraged on Microsoft Copilot AI to help us know the right plugins to use, and this went a long way to save us some time in the long run. In the end, this project was a huge success and I would like to thank Professor Robert Braathe for given me the chance to lead and to grow, and all the hands that helped make this possible via cooperation.

HR and Marketing

My name is Krysta Kivela and I’m a psychology major at Cal State University of Long Beach. During my time as an HR intern, I worked on so many interesting and relevant HR projects. One that really sticks out to me was a collaborative project where me and another intern researched all the relevant HR laws and regulations and state-specific laws we would need to be familiar with before entering the workforce.

We created a large presentation and included audio to our slides to make it more engaging and easier to digest. I believe this is a reference I will be using moving forward in my HR career.

The advice I would give to other interns is to take as many opportunities as you can because you never know what may spark your interest.

It is a great way to figure out what things make you excited and driven and what things aren’t a good fit for you. And don’t forget, you make the most out of your internship!

Hi! My name is Juliet, and I am a Senior in high school attending POA. I’m currently living in Saudi Arabia and I am apart of the HR/Marketing department.

Throughout my internship, I was fortunate to have collaborated with many interns to accomplish the goals I set for myself. These include managing a team, as I led the BE Newsletter for 3 editions, along with helping initiate a project as I helped 2 interns start their initiatives (which are currently thriving!).

A piece of advice I would give to anyone joining Braathe Enterprises: Reach out to other interns! I know it seems daunting at first- especially with the internship being virtual-but BE fosters a very collaborative and inclusive environment, so don’t be afraid to reach out to people to collaborate on projects and connect!

This internship is truly one of a kind and I’m sure every BE intern agrees. My favorite project I worked on would be the one I completed at the end of the internship where I interviewed HR employees in the US and Saudi Arabia to analyze differences in management techniques used in each country.

My passion activities include being the Social Impact Coordinator for Be The Light Youth( a speech and debate education nonprofit which offers classes and workshops to children in marginalized communities), Youth representative on my Church’s Mission Committee, intern for Braathe Enterprises, Varsity Tennis, Varsity Speech and Debate, Finance and Investment competitions and clubs, along with my church choir. Time-blocking techniques have allowed me to balance these activities with hours to spare. I believe that as long as the passion exists to do something, nothing can keep you away. Complete dedication to advocacy and uplifting the values that I care about is what keeps me going every single day. Doing anything half-heartedly is not full dedication. I look to offer my full dedication to an organization that looks to the future. A memorable moment in the internship was the chance to meet interns from all walks of life. One piece of advice is to connect with as many people as possible. A project I loved was working on a Financial Services online platform with other interns.

Braathe Enterprises was a great way for me to network with other hardworking interns, as well as develop valuable skills. As a high school student, this internship provided me with the experience needed to pursue my further studies, as I want to be in the finance R&D field myself. I remember collaborating with this other intern on solving inadequate education in NYC, which was probably my most memorable moment of this internship. For the new interns looking to join Braathe Enterprise, make sure to connect with these amazing students, to make your internship worthwhile.

Hi, my name is Roman Audette, I graduated from Hudson Valley community college and I am always aiming to try new things in the world.

I’ll alway remember when the first time I joined this internship, I got acquainted with everyone and everyone was so nice and chatty; I was great talking to new people and learning who they were.

I would say that don’t miss the opportunities to go to meetings during this internship or to do projects because like I always say “one conversation, can turn into a whole community” you will find that people may have similar things in common than you realize and it will be great to interact with them and even work on something with them.

My favorite project was when I had to talk about how early college programs can really help people out. I attended an early college program at Hudson Valley and I felt that this Project was a great way to share how I can help you in the long run of things.

Thank you for this experience and I hope everyone remembers to have an excellent day, week, month and year!!!!!

I am an online ASU student majoring in the Interdisciplinary studies Bachelor’s Degree program in Business and Psychology. I had the great opportunity of learning SPSS Statistical software for data analysis and presentation that will be helpful for most jobs I would be attaining from my degree as well as exploring psychological phenomena in business companies in general that provides more insights and thought provoking research to improve business practices and employee culture. A piece of advice I would share for interns joining is to ask many questions and get to know your online coworkers and leaders and create an outline of what you would like to learn for the semester so you can finish with the proper skill set that can build your resume in your favor. My favorite project that I worked on was writing a finance-related newsletter such as the most effective leadership style that benefits business profit.

I am a high school senior in Wisconsin who will continue my education at UW Madison. I hold various positions in clubs at my high school and an international competitor for DECA. A memorable moment that I had during the internship was my favourite project that I worked on, which was the Investing 101 project I worked on with fellow interns Thanosan Pratifkumar and Kelsey Swasey. This project consisted of the different ways someone can invest in the stock market, and I encourage anyone to check it out to learn more about the stock market. A piece of advice I would give to every intern is to take advantage of all the opportunities that Mr. Braathe provides. He is very flexible with projects and research that you want to do, and he gives internship time if you want to take a course or gain a certification.
